FORMATIVE AGENTS

Currently, there is a great need for “Formative Agents” - care takers and care givers in the Body of Christ. In many instances, Church leaders are building their own ministry. They are building the four walls of the church but they aren’t building the church within you, which is supposed to be their main calling. Part of the reason for this is because they don’t have this information. The church was designed as an organism to build your ministry, to empower you in order to expand your God-given dreams to their full capacity.

As a result, we find newborn Christians in the middle of the battlefield [in the world] as soldiers without training. The chances for their survival are slim. Supernaturally they live because God is good, but internally they struggle, because nobody mentored them and structured them spiritually. God did not design the Christian life to be a life of struggle, He designed it to be a life of conquest and victory!

There is a call going out and there are vacancies in the Spirit, waiting to fulfill this need. If you respond to this call, and enlist in this Kingdom Agent army, you need to be determined to empower, train and equip others. To bring the Kingdom into those circumstances where there was no Kingdom and to bring soldiers from the enemy’s camp into the light of the Kingdom. If you do these things, you will see the full expression of the power of heaven unleashed through your life. Supernatural power will propel and guide you, backing you up because God will go before you and His glory will be your rear guard.

I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,
if anyone steadfastly believes in Me,
he will himself be able to do the things that I do;
and he will do even greater things than these,
because I go to the Father.
Jn. 14:12 AMP

Mentoring the next generation is a very spiritual practice. Luckily, God designed it that way.

[Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen:
to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of
the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break
every [enslaving] yoke? Is it not to divide your {spiritual}
bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor
into your house—when you see the {spiritually} naked,
that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself
from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?
Then shall your light break forth like the morning,
and your healing (your restoration and the power of
a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your
righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and
your right relationship with God) shall go before you
[conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the
glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

According to the previous passage, the “power of a new spiritual life” doesn’t get fully activated when we learn the knowledge and the Spiritual laws. It only gets activated when we start conferring this knowledge to others.

Pedagogy will tell you that the learning cycle is, “learn something + apply it (or practice it) + teach it to others”. Until we haven’t imparted the knowledge of the new learned skill to others, we can’t really say that we have learned or mastered it. The same thing applies in the Kingdom. That’s why He said “go and make disciples…” because as you do, the mentoring process instructs the pupil, perfects the teacher and makes you complete lacking nothing, in order to prepare you for your next level and destiny of glory.

In mentoring, both sides are learning, the one that is receiving the information as well as the one that is facilitating it. It’s just from a different perspective. Remember you don’t need the trainee unless you want to complete your process, because you already have the information you need in order to spiritually navigate life. However, they need you because without you and the information you can infuse into their system, they can drift like a ship lost at sea.

That’s why scripture says not to boost of ourselves but to consider ourselves servants of others. 2 Ti. 2:24 AMP. As you govern over your own soul and start removing the “other” kingdoms that may exist in your disciple, the Kingdom starts growing in you and you start increasing more and more in power. It’s a double win. In the Kingdom everybody wins…

Disciple means “joyful follower”, remember we re-shape people through His Light. The season of positional leadership is coming to an end. In this modern era, the more you shine, the more people will follow you. It is normal when training others to find some measures of the kingdom of darkness still residing in them. However, we do not shine darkness in order to destroy darkness, our only weapon is to shine His Light.

If the person belongs in the Kingdom of Light, eventually they’ll become receptive to it and they’ll adopt this Light as their new nature. But please never shine darkness especially in the name of God. Basically don’t oppress your trainees, don’t be harsh with them, form them through light, not through control. They will learn by your example not by your commands or attempts to control how they do things. If you find yourself shining darkness, go back and master yourself, and then try to help others.
