SPIRITUAL LAWS
I am the Door; anyone who enters in through
Me will be saved (will live), He will come in
and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture.
Jn. 10:9 AMP
We are talking about a “seed” of Light -you and me- that was originally designed to do great things for the Kingdom, but the enemy came and damaged it. Now is time to learn how to shine.
God gave us a physical law called the ten commandments. This physical law is still valid and in operation within the kingdom today. This law was established to set limits and parameters in order to subdue sarx, while we would await our ransom from it via the Christ. But then there is another law that operates, this is the Law of the Spirit…
For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus
[the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of
sin and of death.For God has done what
the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by
the flesh [the entire nature of man
without the Holy Spirit]…
Ro. 8:2-3a AMP
In John 3:16, when he said,… “He gave his…Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”, it meant that after you die you’ll go to heaven. But it also meant that if you wanted you could start living this eternal life right now.
Christ is the “diving suit” that enables you to explore the depths of the ocean of the Spirit. When He says “I am the Way…”, what he is actually saying, is “I am” the very pattern and the blue print that connects men and the Spiritual realm – there are visions, visitations, spheres of power that people in the Bible touched. You are Heirs to all of this, so you mustn’t settle for less.
Let us review some of the attributes contained within this “Spiritual” Map.
Attributes of the Spiritual Map
Ambassador / Representative
• [Now] He is the exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible]; Col. 1:15a AMP
Unlimited Power
• For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently. Col. 1:19 AMP
Secrets / Mysteries
• In Him all the treasures of the [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden. Col. 2:3 AMP
Shining Light
• He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprinting and very image of [God’s] nature, Heb. 1:3a AMP
Christ abides in you, and wants to move through you with all these attributes if you let Him, if you “unlock” Him.
As you can see, we were designed to do things differently than what we see people doing or reproducing on a daily basis today. Humans will reproduce what they are exposed to. If you had an alcoholic father, and you want to change that defective genetic memory that was imprinted in your DNA, right now is the time to do it. To be born again. To re-shape the DNA through the power and the Light of the Holy Spirit so as to remove the defective one.
Now that we have a greater understanding of the Spirit and the nature that dwells within us, let’s go ahead and review Christ’s map and His steps in order to activate His nature in us. If you want to live a supernatural life, you have to walk supernatural steps.
Christ’s Spiritual Map
• From intimacy to expression
“No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father,He has declared Him…[He has revealed Him... and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].”
Jn. 1:18 AMP.
God is Spirit. We can express Him or bring Him out where He can be seen through us but first we need to be in His intimate presence in order to know His intent.
• Nourishment
I have food (nourishment) to eat of which you know nothing and have no idea. My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work. Jn. 4:32b, 34b AMP
Prayer is very good, because it allows you to hear what’s in His heart and its direction. However, what strengthens your spiritual man is action, that is flowing on His instructions. It’s like going and working out your muscles at the GYM, only this working out for your spirit.
• Fusion / Walking from the inside out
I am able to do nothing from Myself [independently, of My own accord – but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders]. Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give a decision], and My judgment is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek or consult My own will [I had no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent Me. Jn. 5:30 AMP
This would be an accurate interaction between Father & Son where He flows through you, and you in Him. You get to know Him more in His essence, as you let His life shine through yours.
• Power/Cycles
And after He had dismissed the multitudes, He went up into the hills by Himself to pray. Matt. 14:23a
The spiritual man knows where the source of his power lies and has also learned to respect his/her cycles. After having established the kingdom in a person’s life or situation, the spiritual man knows he has to go back to the source to replenish his/her energy.
• Light
I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life. Jn. 8:12b AMP
And the Light shines in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it]. Jn. 1:5 AMP
God’s nature, in essence, is Light. We were designed to “shine” His Light. As a matter of fact, there is a reference in Habakkuk 3:4 which says that when we shine His Light, we unleash His power. If you operate based on Light, darkness cannot get a hold of you.
• Invincibility
Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own accord; but the Father Who lives continually in Me does the (His) works (His own miracles, deeds of power). Jn. 14:10 AMP
Christ’s life is an eternal flow that is far greater than ours. When you line up with His plan and flow you find yourself being backed up by heaven itself.
You are not on your own. If you let Him flow through you, whomever opposes and faces you, faces the power of Him who abides in you.
• Times
My time (opportunity) has not come yet; but any time is suitable for you and your opportunity is ready any time [is always here]. Jn. 7:6b AMP
It is a top priority to operate based on the right times and seasons in the spiritual realm when flowing in the spirit. Embedded in this map of Christ lies the ability of “knowing” the times and seasons.
It is not enough to remove the “old” in order for our regeneration process to be complete We must we learn how to accurately interact with the Spirit. This is a partnership, so we need to get acquainted with Him. Thats why Paul wrote “When you read this you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ.” (Eph. 3: AMP)
Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a [purely] human point of view [in terms of natural standards of value]. [No] even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint and as a man, yet now [we have such knowledge of Him that] we know Him no longer [in terms of the flesh]. 2 Co. 5:16 AMP
If you honor these Spiritual Law points the Spirit will honor you and He “will make you to ride on the high places of the earth…” (Is. 58:14frag). These are just some of the articles of this Spiritual Law – remember it is one thing to try and tame the flesh, it is another to flow in the Spirit. There are many other points on this Spiritual Law waiting to be found in the Bible.
For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring. Acts 17:28 AMP
Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances
have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!
